Master Navara about Nirvikalpa Samadhi

MASTER NAVARA ABOUT NIRVIKALPA SAMADHI

In classical Yoga the ideal is to attain Nirvikalpa Samadhi which will give acces to Moksha (Liberation). Today, many people say they attained Nirvikalpa Samadhi or Enlightenment. This pretention became something as usual as the practice of asanas. This is ridiculous! The majority of the people affirming they are enlightened are often only ignorants on the subject or sometimes even charlatans. Very few are indeed true enlightened. The true enlightened persons are “rara avis” (“rare birds”). The attainment of Nirvikalpa Samadhi is of extreem spiritual height and is requiring much more spiritual altitude than it is usually believed.

According to Guru Navara “to enter Nirvikalpa Samadhi a person must first induce the complete breathing cessation and heart beat cessation, which will have to be kept without any fluctuation during the whole time of Nirvikalpa Samadhi. But the simple cessation of breathing and cessation of the heartbeat does not mean Nirvikalpa Samadhi. It is much more than this. A person may be in clinical death without having any Samadhi state. But also may be in clinical death state experiencing different states of Samadhi. Also, the out of body experience or the near death experience itself does not imply Nirvikalpa Samadhi. However, Nirvikalpa Samadhi implies as a must the clinical death. Therefore, no one can say he is in Nirvikalpa Samadhi unless their breathing and heartbeat are completely stopped during this state of trance. Simply having a clinical death is not at all the divine Nirvikalpa Samadhi.

There is also something to say about people who have not experienced the state of cessation of the heartbeat and breathing. If a person is simply meditating, having a deep serene state and seeing a pure light, is thinking they are enlightened then this is ridiculous. They must understand that such states are yet very common and extremely far from Nirvikalpa. To achieve Nirvikalpa Samadhi they must pass through the complete absence of any thought and any mental processs. They must pass also through the complete absence of the vital functions (breathing, heartbeat) and to go FURTHER, in a higher state, to enter Nirvikalpa Samadhi.

In Nirvikalpa Samadhi all the manifestations of all the bodies (physical body, astral body and causal body) are completely stopped and the person looks like a dead person at all the manifested levels (physical, astral and causal). In all these worlds, the inhabitants, when looking at his body, specific to that world, will consider him to be dead. In the psysical world the physical body will apear to be dead. In astral worlds, the inhabitants will consider his astral (psychic) body to be dead. In causal worlds, the inhabitants will consider his causal body to be dead. For all them, he is dead, he is passed over. But this means to be outside of any created world – and this is true. He is situated in the pure transcendental state. This is a complete cessation at all manifested levels. Therefore, there is no breathing, no hearbeat, no sensorial perception, no thoughts, no ideas, no emotions, no memory, no ego, not any kind of manifestation, no representation or distinct specificity. The enlightened consciousness is remaining completely isolated in the unmanifested transcendental luminous void of The Clear Light of the Heavenly Father. This is an extremely high state – very hard to be achieved. As a consequence, the true enlightened persons are extremely few.

In almost all the actual schools of Yoga, Buddhism or other mystical schools, there is a complete lack of knowledge about these very important things and they lack completely in the concrete teachings (techniques) to acquire this absolute control. They do not know anything concrete about how to induce at will the complete cessation of the breathing and of the heartbeat, not to mention about the corresponding control on the astral body, causal body, personal ego, etc. And, if this is the sad situation, how such unprepared teachers can teach you all these things which they themselves don’t know nor did they experience all these things themselves? This is why the actual situation on Earth is very sad. The true sincere devotees have no serious alternatives, have no spiritual paths to learn from. There are not enough consistent teachings on this most essential matter in the actual schools of mysticism. Therefore they are weak and less efficient. This is because such things were completely absent from the beginning in the majority of the mystical schools or, if they were present in the past in very few schools, then today they are completely lost because of different reasons. Only very few masters have the neccesary knowledge and often they choose to remain unknown and not to teach such secrets to anyone.

This is why there is a deep need for Navara, where the sincere devotees can learn the true secret teachings to become indeed enlightened and liberated. My mission is to help them learn all they need on spirituality and mysticism in order to come back to God.”
